Financial Coordinator

Financial Coordinator duties include exploring, recommending, and coordinating the variety of financial assistance options available to patients in order to ensure the provision of the best financial resources possible for each patient.  Healthcare experience is necessary with specific knowledge and experience with Medicare, Social Security and Medicaid systems.  Necessary skills would include excellent written and verbal skills, being detail oriented, and strong organizational and time management skills.

Front Office Coordinator

Front Office Coordinator duties include management of the front desk, reception, and client waiting areas with a positive and professional attitude.  Also, acting as liaison with physicians, patients and other office staff; scheduling of appointments; routing incoming phone calls from multiple lines; and handling questions from callers before transferring to appropriate personnel. 

Health Unit Coordinator (HUC)

Health Unit Coordinator duties include effectively interacting with patients, families and other health team members; performing a variety of clerical duties, including updating and organizing information in the patient record; scheduling; coordinating work within departments and providing receptionist duties; order entry; and responding to inquiries for information.

Medical Claims Auditor

Claims Auditor duties and job description include being responsible for quality control mechanisms designed to assure compliance with regulatory agencies, addressing overall claims handling, and investigating internal claims handling.  Also, providing guidance to Claims Managers regarding internal audit findings related to specific claims handling of Claims Representatives.

Medical Coder (CPC/RHIT)

Medical Coder job description and responsibilities include reviewing the entire medical record and assigning the correct ICD-9 and CPT codes to each data element; recording and sequencing clinical data in correct order; and contacting and working with physicians as needed for clarification of details.

Medical Insurance Biller

Insurance Biller duties include processing medical billings to private insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid agencies on behalf of the client and the agency.  Also, reviewing and verifying of patient account information; entering data to process charges, payments, denials and adjustments; using standardized insurance disease codes (ICD-9 & CPT); and following up on problem billings to point of resolution.  Computer proficiency and 10-key by touch required.

Medical Records Clerk

Medical Records Clerk duties include tracking patients' medical histories and charts; ensuring proper forms are present and signed; and making certain that the medical information is correct and accessible to doctors and nurses.  Also, compiling, processing, and maintaining medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner conistent with administrative, ethical, legal and regulatory requirements.

Medical Referral Coordinator

Referral Coordinator duties include coordinating patient admissions by performing pre-admission assessment, facilitating and scheduling patients for appointments, referrals, tests and procedures.  Also responsible for medical records functions pertaining to the management of health information; supporting and assisting the physicians in providing benefit interpretations; contract agreements; healthcare guidelines; and direction of patient care.  Requires computer competency, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, knowledge of medical terminology, customer service skills, and experience in the healthcare industry.

Medical Scheduler

Scheduler duties include arranging patient and physician schedules for surgical procedures; reserving patient rooms and scheduling support staff.  Requires strong computer skills, sensitivity to confidential information and excellent communication abilities. 

Medical Transcriptionist

Transcriptionist duties include listening to tapes recorded by medical staff and typing information exactly as stated into computer files.  May use standard word processing software or customized databases.  Requires solid knowledge of medical terminology, spelling and medical abbreviations, exceptional typing speed and accurancy. 

Medical Treatment Coordinator

Treatment Coordinator duties include ensuring that patients understand why they need the diagnosed treatment, assisting patients through the completion of the treatment, and obtaining a financial commitment for the treatment plan.  Additional skills include excellent oral communication skills, medical terminology knowledge, multi-tasking ability and a professional demeanor.
