Legal Support Professional


Bookkeeper duties include solid communication, organizational and business technology skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks and Peachtree may be required.  Other Bookkeeper responsibilities include:  processing accounts payables and receivables; managing bank reconciliations and payroll processing; posting journal entries; familiarity with legal industry hourly billing software applications and practices.

Data Processing Clerk

Data Processing Clerk duties include performing data entry; preparing hourly billing statements; matching purchase orders with invoices; assisting in legal document production.  Other responsibilities include proficiency in 10-key and Microsoft Office suite applications.

Legal Secretary

Legal Secrectary responsibilities include possessing precise knowledge of court forms and filing procedures and an understanding of one or more specific practice areas. Often maintains lawyer calendars and may be responsible for scheduling lawyer time and billing sheets. Ability to multi-task and prioritize is critical, as position may support up to five lawyers. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail required.  Other duties include:  proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, word processing speed of 70 wpm, electronic filing experience, expense and billing experience.

Office Administrator

Office Administrator responsibilities include coordinating and administrating law office.  Organizes and analyzes law office operations and procedures.  Requires strong communication skills and accounting knowledge.  May include supervision of law firm administrative staff.  Other duties include:  employment and benefit administration; bookkeeping; word processing; office supply purchase and management.


Receptionist responsibilities include greeting firm visitors, handling incoming calls, performing general administrative duties and assisting legal administrative staff with work overflow, including legal word processing, data entry and legal research.  Proficiency in phone systems and Microsoft Office Suite products may be also required.

Reproduction Clerk

Reproduction Clerk main duties include performing basic clerical tasks, and operating office equipment for legal document reproduction.  Reproduction of legal documents include legal letters, memorandas, invoices and other indexed documents according to an established system, generally associated with litigation.  Additional duties may include answering telephones and data entry.
